Swing Blue Alliance reports Postcards and Letters Can Boost Voter Turnout and Registration!
While research is ongoing, current evidence shows that handwritten communications like postcarding and letter-writing can increase voter turnout and registration.

Turnout increases for postcard programs can approach 2%, occasionally higher. If this seems minimal, consider that in close elections, sending large numbers of cards may raise turnout to levels in the same range as vote margins. Postcards also impact older voters more than younger ones and seem to boost turnout more in primaries than in general elections.

Field Team 6 is a pro-Democratic Party get-out-the-vote group that seeks to register Democratic voters. Field Team 6 has helped register 2.3 million Dems since 2019, the vast majority in swing states. Field Team 6 is a volunteer army on a mission: Register Democrats. Save the world.

To win in 2024, we will reach out to millions of unregistered likely Democrats using our one-of-a-kind database and every outreach method possible (phone and text, postcard, email and targeted ad, and in-person too), where new Democratic voters will make the most impact – in the most flippable states and districts.

Brought together by a practical guide to resist the Trump agenda, Indivisible is a movement of thousands of group leaders and more than a million members taking regular, iterative, and increasingly complex actions to resist the GOPs agenda, elect local champions, and fight for progressive policies.
They make calls. They show up. They speak with their neighbors. They organize. And through that work, they’ve built hundreds of mini-movements in support of their local values. And now, after practice, training, and repetition, they’ve built lasting power on their home turf and a massive, collective political muscle ready to be exercised each and every day in every corner of the country.
We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.
People Power United champions progressive values and power to the people.
We are a group of people who believe in the possibility of change and work to make it happen. Whether it's supporting a candidate, fighting to pass legislation, or working to change our culture, our members are committed to an inclusive and progressive future.

We empower our members to take action on the climate crisis, civil and voting rights, healthcare, education, and the corruption we are seeing at the Supreme Court and in Congress. As a subscriber to People Power United you will be notified of upcoming events, issues, and calls to action.
Red Wine and Blue is a national community of over half a million diverse suburban women working together to defeat extremism, one friend at a time. We train and connect women from across the country of all political backgrounds – including many who have never been political before – to get sh*t done and have fun along the way. Join us!

We know that the most effective way to make change is by talking to people. We know our country is divided and the best way to bring everyone together is one conversation at a time. We teach women how to strike up those conversations with friends, family, and neighbors, focusing on common sense and shared values.
Swing Left is building a lasting culture of grassroots participation in winning elections for the Left by making it as easy as possible for anyone to have maximum impact on the elections that determine the balance of power in our country.

In 2023, the Swing Left community helped flip the Wisconsin Supreme Court to a progressive majority, protect voting power and reproductive freedom in Ohio, hold the Virginia State Senate, and flip the Virginia House of Delegates. Together, we also began to lay the groundwork for winning a federal Democratic trifecta in 2024. Read more about how we won in 2023.
The Volunteer Blue group grew from the work of Together for 2020, which mobilized more than 10,000 volunteers working in critical states to elect Biden/Harris, take the Senate, and hold onto the House. In 2021, we became Together We Elect, reflecting our ongoing mission, expanding our alliances with voting-oriented organizations, and continuing to connect volunteers with meaningful, vetted, and impactful actions. We have become an important way for a variety of organizations to connect with each other, share ideas, and promote volunteer opportunities.

As Together We Elect, we work closely with groups such as Swing Left, Force Multiplier, the Union, Activate America, Field Team 6, as well as coordinated campaigns and candidates in swing districts and states.
Actions supported by Together We Elect include:
