T 2.0 Day One - What we know & what we think

Updated: Feb 18

Last week the President-Elect met with the Republican Senators telling them he is preparing around 100 executive orders for his first day of presdiency. All through out his campaign he has promised multiple day one actions. FOTUS47 (Felon of the United States aka DJT), told Time Magazine "Look, I can undo almost everything Biden did, through executive order. And on Day One, much of that will be undone". Many of the actions are expected to launch on Inauguration Day Jan 20, when he takes office.

Steve Bannon told Politico that FOTUS47 (DJT), has a slew of thought-out executive actions and legislation. He goes on by stating "discussion over the best reconciliation strategy for forging ahead with Trump’s legislative agenda is the most “important fight” right now — one that will set the tone for the next four years." Bannon is aware that Tom Homan border Czar and Stephen Miller are working on a number of actions to crack down on illegal immigration. Bannon inserted that he hoped the President elect would consider a moritorium on immigration. Lastly Bannon suggests the administration should set up an External Revenue Service for the collection of tarriffs.

AXIOS conducted an analysis of 122 speeches that FOTUS47 (DJT), made between January 1, 2023 up to December 6, 20024. They conducted an analysis of transcripts created by Rev.com to come up with a list of everything FOTUS47 promised on Day one. One thing we have learned from his first term and the time between is he tells you what he is going to do.

We are going to take the AXIOS list and compare it with what new legislation has been submitted. It is important to note that 95% of the legislation introduced this early in the session have NO detail in them, making it hard to group them.
